The ultimate, orthopaedic bed designed and built to last. The high-density memory foam base is load-bearing, so contours perfectly to the dog's body without any sinking. Raised cushy frame panels create a snuggly comfort barrier and act as a cushy support for your dogs head. Your dog will be day-dreaming all day long in this bed! The cover is fully removable for easy washing.
- Un-zip cover and remove inner foam sections (keep aside)
- Gentle machine wash in cool water using mild detergent
- Air dry - do not tumble dry as this may cause the cover to shrink
Our cute models are on the Medium size bed.
New house, new bed, helped make the move a luxurious end of the day experience. For her older years it makes bedtime (most of the day) in her XL Wombat Plush bed a most pleasurable experience. Well made - love Kazoo products.
From the moment that the bed arrived, my 2 dogs race to relax on it. They love the raised sides that they rest their heads on. Highly recommended
Our Kelpie x American Staffy, 2.5 year old, dog Luna has hip dysplasia, two luxating patellas, and has already undergone one luxating patella surgery. Definitely not blessed with healthy joints and so a supportive bed for her little body is incredibly important. The large Wombat plush Bed was shipped on the 30th from NSW and arrived in QLD the very next day! Fantastic shipping time. I love that the size of the large Wombat bed fit her much loved crate perfectly. Luna instantly fell in love with the bolstered edges made from memory foam. I also love the stylish cover so I got in contact to query if the covers were sold separately as a spare would be of use. No reply. On arrival, I quickly realised that I had somehow misunderstood the use of memory foam. Only the bolstered edges are made of memory foam whilst the middle flat surface is made of a light "support" foam. We personally watched our 25kg dog sink right down on the internal foam and when I press down on the middle area of the bed, I'm easily able to feel the floor. So, skip to January 3rd and we wake to find a split in the fabric. I've never seen any of Luna's dog bed fabrics rip like that, let alone in such a short amount of time. She'd only used it for three nights at that point. I emailed the company, included photos, but 9 business days later and still no reply. Anyway, I was able to sew the split and we've not had the issue happen again. We also got an inner rectangular piece of memory foam custom cut to provide far better support and Luna took to that much better than the light internal "support" foam. This is a long review, I know, but our experience is simply a heads up to other customers about some of the bed details for the cost. Overall, do we love the bed? Yes, it's very cute and cosy for Luna but we've also had to be very forgiving with the fabric fault as well as the inner rectangular foam having very limited true support and needing modifications to include a memory foam topper. All fixable but also important for future customers to be aware of.
