Luckily, those clever folk at Kazoo came up with a brainwave. Make a high bed scratch post out of sofa fabric.

Mum and dad bought me one and I’ve got to say, sofa so good. I’m loving the sisal scratch post and the hanging play rope. And the comfy bed is just purrfect.

"After purchasing a few cat trees, there are some that my cats love but will destroy them too quickly. The are cat trees are too unstable that my cats won’t use. Both my cats are using the scratching post and they sleep in the top -but not together as they don’t get along."

This is our second purchase

"This is our second purchase of the sofa fabric scratcher/tower bed. It is great quality; our original is over 4 years old and still looks good. The sofa fabric makes the bed look more like a piece of furniture compared to the faux fur, but only has the one colour choice which didnt bother us as the beds are in our laundry. The cushion does eventually flatten over time. It's relatively easy to clean, has an excellent amount of scratching area and has a good elevation. The sleeping area is quite large allowing our cats to stretch out in warmer weather and the cosy cushion keeps them warm when curled up. I have added a fleece blanket on top of the cushion that can be regularly washed for easier cleaning. The bed provides an excellent amount of scratching surface and height that allows a good stretch at the same time. Neither cat has been interested in the hanging rope, but we have chosen to leave it attached. The bed is extremely easy to assemble, but the components may be heavy for some people so grab a friend to help if you need to. My only complaint is the large bolt that attaches the bed to the pole. This can be felt through the cushion after a while as its not countersunk. I've added a layer of memory foam in a pillow protector between the platform and the cushion to deal with this. The underside of the bed is also covered with the sofa fabric, which isn't seen in cheaper styles of tower bed, which is a nice touch. If it weren't for the bulging bolt, this bed would be near perfect."
